... means "closed" in Catalan.

I need to take an extended hiatus from In Praise of Sardines. I am sorry.

This is a blog about food and, right now, I've lost my appetite. The reason I need a break does not concern the restaurant. At least not yet. Let's just say that my alphabet now contains 1 less letter and leave it at that.

I will miss you all.

I too am sorry I discovered this site AFTER you signed off. I will enjoy reading the old files and catching up. I will also have some sardines grilled the "charcoal boat" - way when I go to Spain in 10 days, to your health and well-being. Take care and remember that the bumbs in our lives is what makes us grow and become stronger and better persons...eventually.
